I’m a senior integrated designer with 15+ years of experience collaborating with UK and international brands across retail, beauty, tobacco and leisure sectors. I specialise in packaging (Beauty & FMCG), branding, print, in-store and consumer touchpoints.
Currently I work as a freelance designer and director of NB Designz Ltd, partnering with a range of high-profile agencies on packaging and conceptual design, print collateral, point of sale, product development and illustration. BRIEF OBJECTIVES
The task was to create a new limited-life collection to celebrate motherhood, with a contemporary feel that evokes the femininity of florals and womenhood. Bold colours for a modern twist with an edge to empowerment. Making sure that the colours used in the concept link to the colour palette and additional brand SKUs.
ROLE IN PROJECT
Concept moodboards, conceptual digital design, typography development, art direction and 3D marketing visuals for activation.
Three distinct concept routes were explored through a blend of Photoshop image compositions, retouching, and AI-generated visuals: An atmosphere narrative direction, a packaging design route, and a visual approach to art-direct the launch photography. The signed off visuals were handed over to an external agency (Hogarth) to develop into a fully integrated campaign activation and launch photography.
The concept 3D visuals created bring the collection to life in a visually striking and emotionally resonant way, staying true to the original brief. While rooted in femininity, the bursts of colour and blooming forms symbolise joy, strength, and the vibrant celebration of womanhood in every shade.
The composition feels alive, expressive, confident, and unapologetically empowering.
