I create films that explore the tension between faith, desire, and truth. I’m a third-cultural individual who by the age of 18, had already lived in seven countries across five continents. With a Portuguese mother and a Chilean-German father, my cocktail of ethnicities and global upbringing shapes how I see the world and how I tell stories. My worldiness drives everything I create. As an international student studying at SCAD, my first introduction to 'The American Dream' was as the underdog. In order to be respected within the film community here, I decided to direct fashion films for students which lead me to explore my surrealistic and experimental signature for short form content. I then began my narrative journey, with a short film ‘Mannequin’ and have been hooked ever since. I'm detail-oriented and assured to bring a creative and culturally aware approach in work, with an appetite for aiming to weave narratives that resonate across borders.
