My second short film, Happening explores the not-so-peaceful side of reflection, and how being too introspective can blur the line between thought and reality. In this film, I dynamically switch mediums from VHS-C to 16mm film to illustrate when the main character awakens from his trance-like state.

The project marked my first exploration with experimental filmmaking, exploring concepts that fascinated me like the intersection between dream and memory. I used an old VHS-C video camera to illustrate the hazy, blurry nature of thought.
