As an audio engineer, I worked on various music projects, providing high-quality recording, mixing, and mastering services to bring artists' visions to life. My responsibilities included: * **Recording:** Managing multi-track recording sessions, setting up microphones, DI boxes, and signal paths for optimal sound capture. * **Mixing:** Using industry-standard software like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Ableton to create polished, balanced mixes. I collaborated with producers and artists to ensure the sound met the desired emotional and technical standards. * **Mastering:** Preparing tracks for final release by adjusting levels, EQ, compression, and other processes to ensure they sound great across all platforms (CD, streaming, vinyl, etc.). * **Editing:** Cleaning up and editing raw recordings—comping vocals, fixing timing issues, removing unwanted noise, and enhancing overall audio quality. * **Collaboration:** Working with artists, producers, and other engineers to ensure smooth sessions, from the initial recording to the final output. * **Studio Management:** Maintaining and organizing equipment, ensuring everything was in working order and ready for use. I also managed the setup and breakdown of the studio space. This role helped me refine my technical skills, develop an ear for detail, and learn how to create a consistent, polished sound across various genres and production styles.
