Oana Maria Puicu

I’m a Berlin-based DJ and producer specializing in deep minimal, hypnotic techno, breaks, and experimental electronic music, with over 15 years of experience in the international underground scene.

My core strength lies in long-form musical storytelling — building sets and productions that evolve patiently, emotionally, and with intention. I work with texture, space, and restraint rather than trends or formulaic drops. Each performance is designed as a tactile, immersive experience, prioritizing connection with the dancefloor over visibility or spectacle.

What differentiates me from other artists is a meticulous, emotionally intelligent approach to both DJing and production, shaped by extensive international experience across clubs, festivals, and underground spaces in Europe and Asia. I bring a deep understanding of crowd dynamics, sound system behavior, and atmosphere, allowing me to adapt seamlessly to different cultural and spatial contexts.

As one of the few women producing deep minimal in Romania, my sound and artistic identity are entirely my own. After navigating creative burnout and industry challenges, I am now fully focused, grounded, and committed to the craft — approaching each project with integrity, precision, and respect for the artist dance-floor relationship.
