    El vídeo explica desde dentro cómo es una cirugía compleja de columna y el papel que desempeñan los profesionales sanitarios en sus distintas fases, desde la visita previa del equipo médico a la paciente hasta su traslado al área de reanimación. En cada una de estas fases, profesionales sanitarios explican qué ocurre en cada momento y cómo se atiende a la paciente para garantizar su seguridad. En una cirugía compleja de columna trabaja de forma coordinada un equipo multidisciplinar formado por especialistas en Cirugía Traumatológica, en Anestesiología y Reanimación y en Neurofisiología, enfermeras, TCAEs y celadores.

    En concreto, esta intervención quirúrgica consistió en la corrección de una deformidad escoliótica a nivel del tórax realizada por los cirujanos Nicolás Plais y María Isabel Almagro, miembros de la unidad de columna del Clínico San Cecilio. Además, participan en el vídeo otros profesionales implicados en la cirugía como el también cirujano José Luis Martín, el anestesista Félix Calcerrada, el neurofisiólogo Adrián Egea y la enfermera instrumentista, Estefanía Viñuales.
