    UpTrade — Stock Trading Mobile App

    UpTrade is a mobile investing platform designed to make the stock market accessible to everyday users — not just experienced traders. The core idea was to combine real-time market data, community-driven discussion, and AI-powered analysis into a single, glanceable interface that doesn’t overwhelm.

    The design was built entirely in Figma, starting with a dark-mode design system anchored in deep navy tones, electric blue accents, and high-contrast white type. Every component — cards, bottom nav, charts, modals — was built as a reusable Figma component with auto-layout so screens stayed consistent as the design evolved.

    The home screen surfaces a personalized watchlist, live market status, and an AI trading assistant chat — all above the fold. The layout hierarchy deliberately leads with the user’s name and a greeting to create a sense of ownership.

    Stock detail screens were designed with progressive disclosure: the top section gives a quick price.
