    uniE608 Anesthesia - Short Horror Film
    This horror short film was our third and final opportunity to compose a 16 audio tracks mix. Every single sound you hear in this video, with the exception of the actors' voices and clothes rustling, were manually placed, panned and mixed accordingly. What I found most enthralling with this project, however, was that, unlike our previous sound mixes where we were given already assembled timelines, we were now in complete control of the shot selection and the video editing itself. While we still had a script to follow, we were in charge of pacing the film and putting the audience through all the emotions the narrative called for, be it tension, fear, awkwardness, etc. The video also proved to be a valuable learning experience for color grading, as we were now free to push the boundaries a bit further than some of our documentary projects that called for standard broadcast color correction.     This short documentary assignment from Collège LaSalle proved to be an amazing opportunity for me to hone my skills in content management and narrative structure. With more than 17 interviewees and dozens of hours of interviews to derush, it was imperative for me to be as organized and concise as possible, so as to keep only the most essential of information. While most found this project to be the hardest one to work on, I personally thought it was the easiest. The sheer quantity of interviewees and footage made the editing process flow smoothly and ensured I always had captivating and eloquently put statements to cut to, at any given moment.
