Or Kadishson is a California-based film and television composer, arranger, orchestrator, and
pianist. Born and raised in Tel-Aviv and now based in Southern California, she brings years
of international experience scoring for film, television, concert, and multimedia projects.
Her work combines emotionally driven storytelling, strong thematic writing, orchestral color,
jazz-influenced harmony, and modern hybrid production. As both a composer and
orchestrator, Kadishson is experienced in shaping music from its earliest creative concept
through orchestration, recording, editing, and final delivery.
Kadishson has composed and orchestrated music for screen and stage, including film and
television projects produced by established production companies and broadcast networks
in Israel and internationally, with credits connected to KAN 11, Keshet 12, Reshet 13, HOT,
yes, TeenNick, and Paramount. Her recent screen work includes co-composing the original
score for Heaven and Earth, nominated for an Ophir Award for Original Score, as well as
work on Matcal, which received a 2023 Israeli Television Academy Award nomination for
Best Music. Her concert work The Giving Tree was selected as a finalist for the
Lawson-May Award at the Solent Music Festival.
She holds a Master of Music in Media Composition and a Bachelor of Music in
Multidisciplinary Composition from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, graduating
with honors and a GPA of 97.5. Her background includes composition, orchestration, jazz
harmony, contemporary music, screen scoring, and live performance as a pianist.
Kadishson is also an experienced educator and previously served as a teaching assistant at
the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. During her military service, she was
recognized as an Outstanding Musician in the Israel Defense Forces, serving as a pianist
and arranger.
