Owen York is an award-winning composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in the NYC area. Exposed to a wide spectrum of music from an early age, he quickly grew into an exceptional musician. By age 12, he had already reached one of the world’s most iconic stages, performing a solo tribute to David Bowie at Madison Square Garden.
As a composer, Owen’s work spans electro-acoustic music, jazz, and chamber orchestra. His music has been praised as “cutting-edge…amongst the most promising developments in the contemporary scene.” Owen approaches each new musical opportunity with an exploratory, insatiable passion for storytelling.
