I edited this social media reel for the BYU Broadcasting series “A Kind of Spark” Season 2. The goal was to create a fun vlog-style recap to promote the show on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. I synced behind-the-scenes footage with engaging music, added captions, and performed color correction and audio mixing using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. I performed multi-cam editing for this horizontal social promo featuring storyteller Kevin Kling for BYUtv’s “AppleSeed” program. Using source interview and performance footage, I synced multiple camera angles, selected the best takes and crafted a concise narrative to promote the story on social platforms. For BYUtv’s “Wizard of Paws”, I edited this cutdown ending reel focusing on Roo and his journey in Season 4 Episode 7. Using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, I condensed the full episode into a 2-minute finale highlight for social media, crafting a compelling narrative that captures the heartfelt transformation.

For BYUtv’s show “Wizard of Paws”, I created this emotional vertical reel focusing on Rosie and Roo from Season 4 Episode 7. Using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, I cut down the full-length episode into a vertical 9x16 highlight for social media, synced the audio with an emotional score, and ensured smooth pacing and narrative flow.

This project involved editing a tutorial that demonstrates how to capture striking steel wool photography. I cut the footage for clarity and pacing, synchronized the narration, applied basic color correction, and delivered a polished, easy-to-follow final video.

I edited and color graded the short horror film “The Demon Within”. Using DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro, I synced audio, managed media, and cut narrative scenes to build tension and pacing. I also performed color grading to enhance the moody, unsettling atmosphere.

I served as the assistant editor and digital imaging technician (DIT) for the short film “Thanksgiving” produced by the BYU Media Arts Department. In this role I managed digital assets, synced audio and footage, organized bins, and collaborated with the editor to cut the film and deliver final sequences.
