My name is Pheannah West. I’ve had a background in art since a young child. Growing up around and experiencing with the beauty, hard work, and complexities of working visual artists and their art, I naturally embarked on that and so many forms of art, including self-taught graphic/pattern design, performance art, henna artistry, and jewelry making, to name a few. In addition to other forms of art, I’ve always loved writing as a child as well. This form of art always brought out my inner thoughts, creations and desires, the same with any other form of art, only through words displayed on a piece of paper or through text. I believe creation, is one of the highest forms of freedom. It has the ability to express one self and extend one self. In many cases, one’s creativity can help others express themselves, their own creations and objectives. Copywriting is a form of that and can assist conveying information needed to be heard or seen by the world. I enjoy researching businesses and their products to help create ideas, visuals, and to articulate information needed for consumers. Previously, and most recently, I’ve created copywriting content for an online business, Sweet Blessings LLC, developed in 2020. In addition to copywriting for their website , I also helped in its development by designing online ads for their social media content, product/set design, assisted with website layout design, and more. Using Ecwid, an E-Commerce platform, I became familiar with navigating an online store; creating information and data inputting , photo content, along with continuously updating information and adding information when needed. My work with this small online business was an ongoing project until its closing in March. Currently, I’m in a space of putting my passions and talents back out there, desiring more work that challenges my current skill set, as well as, work that pushes to higher forms of my potential. I have a 9-5 job which, unfortunately, hasn’t been relative to my creative talents on a daily basis.
