I’m Paco Herrera Carrillo, a Mexican filmmaker and cinematographer based in Guadalajara, with a deep love for light, color, and the stories rooted in place. My work bridges documentary and fiction, and I’m especially drawn to visual poetry—textures, layered images, and expressive compositions that let silence and emotion do real work. Over the years I’ve led projects across formats (live action and animation), often holding multiple roles such as director of photography, colorist, editor, and producer.
