A graduate of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with both a BA (Hons) and Diploma in Theatre Set & Costume Design, Chau’s design language is grounded in rigorous training and enriched by an expansive global career. She has collaborated with some of the industry’s most iconic directors and costume designers—Colleen Atwood, Milena Canonero, Kurt & Bart—across major studio features including Mulan, Pacific Rim: Uprising, Ghost in the Shell, Transformers: Age of Extinction, and The MEG. From supervising large-scale productions across China, Australia, and Europe to designing intimate climate-conscious shorts in Berlin, Chau is known for her flexibility, leadership, and razor-sharp eye for detail. She brings a unique multicultural perspective and the logistical finesse needed to execute complex wardrobe operations across languages, time zones, and budget scales. Her recent work includes Nine Perfect Strangers (Season 2), La Brea (Season 2), and the award-winning Lover’s Discourse, which earned Grand Prix honors at the Osaka Asian Film Festival. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and currently learning German and Swedish at beginner level through online self-study, Chau is based in Berlin and continues to travel globally for the right creative opportunity.
