    paper Union of Concerned Scientists Infographic: Lessons from the Lunchroom

    I created the graphics and edited the copy for this infographic
    for the Union of Concerned Scientists.
    I did the work using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as a contract assignment for the Graphicacyorganization, which coordinated the work as part of UCS’s Lessons from the Lunchroom series.

    paper Drummond Island Tall Ship Calligram

    This calligram (word art) design was created for the Drummond Island Tall Ship Company using Adobe Illustrator, as branding for their 2022-2023 Dream Inspiration Tour.
    Drummond Island Tall Ship Company usually offers a variety of day and overnight trip options where people can enjoy the experience of sailing on an actual tall ship.
    As the pandemic made it difficult for them to give tours with customers, they put together their 2022-23 Dream Inspiration Tour from their home harbor down the east coast to the Bahamas and back, to spread their message of following your dreams.
    The design is based on an image of their custom-built tall ship the Schooner Huron Jewel, and is made from some of their favorite phrases encouraging people to go for their dreams.

    Created the layout for the Spring 2024 issue (#99) of Types and Shadows, the quarterly journal of the Fellowship of Quakers in the Arts.
    I received a Word file from the editor with the main content and created a template to format the content similar to that used by the former editor/layout designer.
