I am a Mechanical Engineer specialized in advanced simulation and digital engineering, currently working as an Industry Process Consultant at Dassault Systèmes. My work focuses on integrating FEM and MBS methodologies, performing Abaqus–Simpack co-simulations, and applying a MODSIM approach within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to connect design and simulation in a seamless digital workflow. Previously, I collaborated with Siemens Digital Industries Software in Leuven, where I developed a digital twin of a mechanical transmission and conducted optimization and robustness studies on spiral bevel gears. This research led to a scientific publication and presentation at an international conference in Guimarães. I also gained R&D and prototyping experience at Zetalab Italia, working on innovative materials and multifunctional systems. Throughout my studies at the Università della Calabria, I consistently worked to support myself financially, which strengthened my sense of responsibility, discipline, and determination. I consider myself proactive and entrepreneurial: I genuinely engage with my work, regardless of the field, and I approach every challenge with passion, curiosity, and a strong work ethic. Beyond engineering, I cultivate a deep interest in sports, art, cinema, and music. In my free time, I enjoy painting and writing creative outlets that nurture my sensitivity, imagination, and expressive skills, qualities that also enrich my professional approach.

Work Experience

Internship - Simulation Industry Process Consultant at MI, Italy
May 1, 2025 - Present
Conducted comparative analyses between FEM and MBS methodologies (Abaqus–Simpack co-simulation) and led pre-sales technical simulations for off-highway dozers, industrial cutting machines, motorcycle suspension systems, helicopter rotor components, and truck leaf-spring suspensions. Built multi-body models, defined dynamic motion scenarios, and performed contact and fatigue analyses. Developed flexible body components via FEM, integrated into MBS models, and automated workflows with custom scripts. Performed MODSIM using 3D Experience.
Internship & MSc Research Thesis at Siemens Digital Industries Software
March 1, 2023 - March 1, 2024
Developed a digital twin of a mechanical transmission for master's thesis, performing CAD modeling (NX) and MBS analysis (Simcenter 3D Motion). Conducted DOE, optimization and robustness studies using HEEDS MDO and Python; improved gear contact performance by identifying optimal misalignment parameters. Performed contact analysis and post-processing in MATLAB. Validated a hybrid FE–Analytical solver for spiral bevel gears, designing a workflow to evaluate accuracy and performance.
Internship (Mechanical Engineer) at Zeta-Lab, Fuscaldo, Italy
August 1, 2021 - January 1, 2022
Supported R&D on 3D-printed materials and contributed to a patented multifunctional roof system, performing experimental testing and prototype validation (SolidWorks, Ansys).
