Born in San Francisco, California, son of French immigrants, Francis Pardeilhan graduated from the University of California, with a BA in Literature. Following a brief period working as a tour guide in Leticia, Colombia, he moved to London where he participated in the Fringe theatre movement working with the Ladies & Gentlemen Company. In 1976, he became a member of Odin Teatret in Holstebro where he worked for eleven years as an actor, musician and pedagogue under the guidance of Eugenio Barba. With Odin Teatret he took part in the plays Johann Sebastian Bach, Anabasis, The Million, Brecht's Ashes, The Gospel of Oxyrhincus and the films On Both Banks of the River and In principio era l'idea directed by Torgeir Wethal. Since 1987 he has lived in Italy where he continues his work as an actor, director, pedagogue, voice actor and screenplay adaptor from various languages into English. He has conducted seminars and presented lectures on theatre in various institutions in Italy and abroad, such as the University of California-Petaluma (U.S.A.), the Academy of Dramatic Art in Palmi (Reggio Calabria), the Teatro dell'Avogaria (Venice), Colignon Compagnie (Paris), the D.A.M.S. of Bologna, the Centro d'Educazione Permanente of Bergamo, the Lombardy Region Association of Milan, the Nuovo Compagnia Camerata (Reggio Emilia), the Theaterassoziation Frankfurt (Germany), Musikteatergruppen Ragnarock (Humlebæk, Denmark), Contact Youth Theatre (Brisbane, Australia), the University of Technology of Kelvin Grove (Brisbane, Australia), Emilia Romagna Teatro (Modena), the University Theatre Centre of Perugia, the C.
