I’m Chidera Uzoma, a creative video editor, videographer, and aspiring filmmaker based in Lagos, Nigeria.

About

I’m Chidera Uzoma, a creative video editor, videographer, and aspiring filmmaker based in Lagos, Nigeria. I love visual storytelling—especially through sports, weddings/events, travel and lifestyle content—and I enjoy creating cinematic edits with strong pacing, framing, and sound for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.

Currently studying Mass Communication at the National Open University of Nigeria, I’m building my professional portfolio through independent creative projects while working as a self-employed editor and videographer. From planning shoots and capturing multiple angles with available light to editing, color finishing, and adapting formats for social-first audiences, I’m always focused on delivering clean, compelling videos that match client briefs and creative direction.

Technology isn’t just about silicon and circuitry; it’s about the human stories we build upon them.
As a Mass Communication student, I am fascinated by how we communicate the “invisible” impact of high-tech innovation. I used Generative AI to visualize the journey from a single EUV light pulse to a fully realized “Smart City” in harmony with nature. At ASML, they say they are “Unlocking the potential of people and society.” This video is my interpretation of that mission a world where technology doesn’t just advance; it empowers. What do you think? Is the future of tech more about the machine or the human?
