Maja Perak was born on May 2, 2000 in Vinkovci. She graduated in 2025, majoring in Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She is attending the summer semester of 2023 at the Academy of Fine Arts Jan Matejko in Krakow. She mostly realizes her works through the medium of drawings and graphics. As part of the Academy's artistic projects, she has led workshops in graphic techniques, some of which are ".ORG/Osijek Graphic Workshop" and "ALU Advent". She has exhibited at group exhibitions such as "9th Croatian Triennial of Printmaking", "Watercolor Triennial", "BookVision", "ZILIK", and "Da!Festival". She presents her solo exhibition "With Love from..." as part of the Nišville Festival. She has participated in the projects "Zero Point: Ideal Place", the interdisciplinary summer school in Grožnjan, Maksimir-Artupunktura, and Plati i nosi. She published her comics in the Marsonic Collection, “Ohoho zine #6 and #7, C’est Bon Anthology vol 68 and in the online publications “Migracije- hommage Dragutin Trumbetaš”, and “Morina kutija”. She won 2nd prize in the Fine Arts category for the work “Return” at Da! Festival in Zagreb and honorable mention for the art book "On the Banks of the Kupa River" at BookVision - International Student Book Art Competition in Czech Republic.
