A decade later I worked on NFL and NBA game broadcasts for CBS Sports on weekends, while serving as Associate Director of the CBS Evening News from the Los Angeles Bureau, where we shot, edited, and produced last-minute Pacific Region and West Coast stories for live incorporation into the East Coast broadcast, followed by an updated Western Edition three hours later. I've led both large and small production entities as an Executive-in-Charge, planning, budgeting, and supervising production work, with responsibility for the bottom line and P&L.
