I'm Pierre Veniot, a Montreal-born musician, composer and teacher with almost five decades on the scene. I began in 1965 on the first clarinet in my Montreal school band, studied jazz performance at McGill, and soon found myself on TV and in chamber and jazz ensembles, building a career across Canada. Today I'm based in Hong Kong, writing for sync licensing, mentoring local artists, and continuing to release music—most recently Storias Too in December 2025. My journey has taken me from the Bouquet de sons baroque trio through Agharta, Jouga, Anoosh, and the World Unit, always exploring new sounds and audiences.
