Hi, I’m Chiara Pignotti, a PhD in Art: Production and Research. I work as an independent jewellery maker and illustrator, merging academic research with a hands-on art practice. Based in Gothenburg, I lead illustration courses and workshops with Folkuniversitetet, Studiefrämjandet, and online with NirmalArt Accademy. I present my work through exhibitions and projects worldwide. I have taught and collaborated across Europe and North America, including positions at UPV (Valencia) and UNAM (Mexico City). In 2018 I founded ChiaraCornelia, my jewellery project, to further develop and share my work. My practice explores jewellery as contemporary art, engages with research in visual arts and design, and emphasizes education and community through teaching and exhibitions.
