Hi, I’m Md Ariful Islam, a creative director and animation specialist with over 25 years of experience shaping motion graphics, 3D animation, AR, and digital content for global brands. I founded and scaled a creative studio, delivering 500+ motion graphics projects and 25+ AR/mobile app presentations. I excel at storytelling, design systems, and exploring AI workflows to boost creativity and efficiency.
Beyond the studio, I mentor junior artists, foster cross-functional collaboration, and build commercially successful creative products. My work ranges from award-winning animation to AR publishing, including Bangladesh’s first AR children’s book. I’m always exploring new tools and techniques to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving creative landscape.

This project was my first commercial work experience and a significant milestone in my career. I worked on The Adventure of Montu Mia, which was the first 3D cartoon animated film produced in Bangladesh. The project began in 2001 and was a pioneering effort in South Asia’s 3D animation landscape.
As a junior animator, I joined the team at a time when there was a severe shortage of skilled 3D artists in the region. This presented a unique opportunity for hands-on learning, as I was able to dive directly into production work. My responsibilities included creating 3D models and animating scenes for the film. I used software such as 3D Studio Max and Cuiraslabs Poser to rig and animate the characters, which included the film’s protagonist, Montu Mia, a character designed to resonate with a local audience. This experience was invaluable, allowing me to develop foundational skills in 3D animation, character rigging, and rendering. The project was featured in prominent publications like Prothom Alo and Projonmo.com, highlighting its pioneering status in the country’s emerging digital media industry. I am incredibly proud to have been part of this historic project, which laid the groundwork for future animation efforts in the region.
