I am Alexandra Freitas, born in 1995 in Funchal, Madeira (Portugal). I am a self-taught artist with no formal musical training. My music moves between ambient, drone, electronic, and classical influences, flowing like tides — deep, melancholic, and yet carrying a quiet sense of hope, reminiscent of the spirit of Portuguese Fado. Since the age of eighteen, I have drawn inspiration from William Basinski and his use of infinite loops, where sound seems to suspend time itself.
