Hi, I’m Johnathan Brown, also known as PME, and I am a music producer and recording artist from Fayetteville, North Carolina. I create music across multiple genres and collaborative projects and I currently serve as Music Director for Create Now in Los Angeles. My work has been featured in a variety of venues and events, including arts initiatives at the Fayetteville Woodpeckers’ Ballpark, and I produce music for Hoodlin Mania.
I love collaborating on albums and songs, and I oversee mixing and mastering as part of my role. Since founding Purple Monkey Ent. in 2019, I’ve focused on executive production, track arrangement, and developing new artists while continuing to perform as an artist.

The [Hoodlin Mania Mixtape Vol. 3](https://www.twine.net/signin is the third installment in the Hoodlin Mania Mixtape series. This tape was specially created to coincide with a skatepark takeover held out in Los Angeles, California during the summer of 2025.
On this tape, I tried to encapsulate the wild, energetic energy of the Hoodlins and mix that with the feeling of skateboarding around your local city to meet your homies and skate. I went outside the box and implemented a lot of synths and trap drums to make this tape something you would want to come back. This tape was made to be infectious and it is personally one of my current favorites that I have made for the brand.
The [Hoodlin Mania Mixtape Vol. 2](https://www.twine.net/signin is the second mixtape created in a series of mixtapes created for the Hoodlin Mania brand. This was my personal first project done for the brand. It mixes the wacky sounds of a Hanna-Babera cartoon and the cold rhythms of east coast hip-hop to create a one of a kind listening experience that you will not get anywhere else!
