QianLi Ma

QianLi Ma (also known as Q Production) is a Los Angeles–based R&B music producer, audio engineer, and keyboardist with a strong foundation in both creative production and technical execution. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with dual majors in Music Production & Engineering and Electronic Production & Design, he brings a detail-oriented yet emotionally driven approach to modern R&B, neo-soul, and genre-blending projects.

QianLi has extensive experience producing, arranging, recording, mixing, and mastering original music in collaborative studio environments. He works closely with songwriters, vocalists, and performers to shape toplines, harmony, groove, and overall sonic direction, while remaining highly responsive to creative feedback and revision. With a deep understanding of DAWs, signal flow, and professional studio workflows, he is equally comfortable building tracks from the ground up or refining existing ideas under tight timelines. His work balances musical storytelling with technical precision, aiming to create records that feel intentional, expressive, and polished.
