Hi, I’m Quinn Bélice, a jazz guitarist, composer, arranger, singer and bandleader from Montreal, Quebec. I studied jazz guitar at Université de Montréal on a $9,000 Sophie Desmarais grant. I am proud to be among the program’s few women in 35 years. I’m dedicated to exploring jazz, Haitian Konpa, and world music, and I’m actively growing my craft as a performer and creator. My ongoing project, Bel and Quinn, brings together a remarkable ensemble of women musicians. We released the album Donte Sann Yo (2023), which earned a JUNO nomination for Global Music Album of the Year in 2024. This work honors my Haitian heritage and reflects my love of composing and arranging for diverse ensembles.
