Internship at Morocco World News
July 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025
The internship enabled me to experience working in a professional media setting and observe closely how news gets reported, edited and published. I spent the month learning how a newsroom functions and working with members of the editorial team members on getting access to their system. It made me witness all the process and to be part of the outlet’s work, especially in Lifestyle. It was a great learning experience which integrated academic studies with professional practice. Although, I subscribed to the knowledge theory that university courses and added a lot of supportive value to what my expectations would be like.
Workshop at AL-Jazeera

The workshop with Al Jazeera English, deepened my understanding of journalism and storytelling. It further honed my skills, namely leadership, teamwork, collaboration and how to make a positive impact on my community.
