Background I’m an Offline Editing specialist, proficient in Avid and Premiere Pro. I’ve worked in non-broadcast and broadcast media for many years, which has given me a great breadth of experience in making unique and memorable videos of all genres, durations and briefs. Obviously, storytelling is paramount, and I’m able to find the gold in the rushes to create a cohesive, compelling story. I specialise in factual/doco, have also worked on some substantial-budget dramas, as well as many short-form videos. I have a good grasp of narrative, structure, workflow and production. Most of my expertise is in the edit itself, but I can also complete essential graphics, sound and colour grading. I won Best Drama Editor at the NZTV Awards in 2019 for my work on Mistress, Mercy. I have over 20 years’ experience in the industry, but I’m open to new ideas, techniques and projects, learning quickly and adapting to whatever the project requires. I love this industry and the day-to-day variation in projects that has me learning something new all the time.
