Greetings!My name is Rafael Tormo, a 2D animator from Valencia, Spain, with over five years of experience in the animation industry. I specialize in Toon Boom and Blender’s Grease Pencil, and I'm also proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects. Professionally, I’ve worked as a color artist for the Canadian studio Tonic DNA, where I contributed to Disney’s “Disenchanted” using Toon Boom. In Spain, I’ve collaborated with various studios: TVON (animator), Wise Blue (2D cut-out animator and cleanup artist), La Madriguera (cleanup artist), Teidees (cut-out animator), and most recently, B-Water Studio (cut-out and traditional animator) I’ve also contributed to several animated short films, including Papirola and BIB BOX, the latter being my Master’s final project. I’m a creative, hard-working professional who values communication and feedback to ensure the best possible results. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I bring a positive attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and a genuine passion for storytelling through animation. As you can see, over the past several years I have mostly worked with animation studios in my home country, and I am now eager to expand my opportunities internationally. Although I’m based in Valencia, I’m fully open to relocating, and also have the tools needed to work remotely.
