Illustrating and design for book interiors and covers, interior layouts for a wide range of young adult and children’s books, including educational publications, plays and fiction. Publishers included Penguin Books, Longman Cheshire, Thomas Nelson, Macmillan, William Heinemann. Commissioned to illustrate news articles and editorials for The Nation Review (1978-79) and The Albury Border Morning Mail (1989-90). Guest Lecturer in illustration and design at the Phillip Institute of Technology (1981-82). Role included preparing and delivering lectures, creating programs and assignments, assessing student progress, motivating, inspiring and teaching students at first, second and third year levels.

Responsible for creating animation sequences in television, video and featurette productions. Part of a dedicated and creative team required to study and interpret the action and acting of one or more characters (animal and/or human) in a particular scene in collaboration with the director of the production. Along with creating the animation, the role required the ability to choreograph multi-character sequences, often utilising comic timing, acting and/or complex action. Attention to detail such as overlapping secondary action and differing weights depicted in motion was essential. Character animation included Kovu and Kiara as cubs and lions (Lion King 2, Hakuna Matata family of projects).
