Reeda Fneiche (b. 2000) is a Lebanon-born filmmaker and visual anthropologist based in Germany whose work sits between artistic practice and research. With a background in Film Studies from the IBA2 – Lebanese University (2021) and an MA in Visual Anthropology at the Professional School of Münster (2026), she works primarily across experimental film and documentary as an editor, sound designer, and researcher. Her practice draws from ethnographic thinking and a strong sensitivity to culture, approaching filmmaking as a sensory medium. She is particularly interested in the permeable boundaries between imagination and belief, tracing events that surface through the sediment of time and emerge in spaces where nature–culture dichotomies begin to dissolve. Working with archives, digitally disseminated material, and her own recordings, she constructs audiovisual works that embrace ambiguity as a generative space for reflection, curiosity, and speculation. Her films have screened in festivals and gallery contexts including the Malmö Arab Film Festival and FIDCampus, as well as the program Stranger Than Fiction in Brussels and Beirut.
