Echoes of Endings | Migration Institute of Finland (2023–2025) A solo art exhibition created as part of the Kone Foundation-funded research project "Endings – Refuge, Time, and Space" at the Migration Institute of Finland. The exhibition explored whether refugeehood ever truly ends, through photography, videography, sound design, and poetry. I was responsible for the full artistic production: concept development, photography, videography, video editing, sound design, and writing all exhibition texts and captions. Beyond the creative work, I also handled project coordination, budget management, marketing, and public presentations. The exhibition ran from November 2024 to January 2025 at Brinkala Gallery in Turku and attracted 2,323 visitors. The documentation video was published on the Kone Foundation's website. A final book publication is forthcoming in 2027. The central creative challenge was translating complex academic research into visual and audio art that a general audience could connect with emotionally, without simplifying the subject matter. The work sat at the intersection of research, storytelling, and artistic expression, requiring close collaboration with researchers, poets, cultural institutions, and funders throughout.
