Riccardo is a director and editor working in documentary, branded, commercials and fiction. He is a full BAFTA member and BIFA voter and has worked across all sectors of the industry for over 15 years, working with notable companies such as Netflix, BBC, Apple, ITV, BFI, Channel 4 and many more. His debut feature documentary was the Grierson nominated A Space in Time and his second was Dwarf Story for ITV. He was mentored by the founder of Salon Pictures, Nick Taussig (McQueen, Churchill, Audrey).

I directed and edited Dwarf Story which is both a feature documentary and a 60 min broadcast documentary for ITV.
The film explores the repercussions of certain treatments on the rise for children with achondroplasia and the part media representation has played in influencing society’s viewpoint.
Commissioned by ITV and called a “Complex Documentary” by the Guardian, a one-hour special aired in the UK pulling in 1.5 million views from it’s broadcast and is now available on ITVX, An extended feature version premiered at the Odeon Luxe West End during the Little Venice Film Festival, winning three awards and it has continued to collect accolades worldwide.
I am one of the editors on a regular longform web travel series taking us on a journey through Italy. Episodes are released every few months.
