    paper Dwarf Story (Feature Documentary)

    I directed and edited Dwarf Story which is both a feature documentary and a 60 min broadcast documentary for ITV.

    The film explores the repercussions of certain treatments on the rise for children with achondroplasia and the part media representation has played in influencing society’s viewpoint.

    Commissioned by ITV and called a “Complex Documentary” by the Guardian, a one-hour special aired in the UK pulling in 1.5 million views from it’s broadcast and is now available on ITVX, An extended feature version premiered at the Odeon Luxe West End during the Little Venice Film Festival, winning three awards and it has continued to collect accolades worldwide.

    The film was theatrically released, nominated for “Best Single Documentary” at the prestigious Grierson British Documentary Awards in 2022 and won best director at the Nottingham International Film Festival 2020. The film was originally acquired by Amazon Prime in the UK and US and now available to rent on the BFI player in the UK and free on Tubi in the US. It garnered positive reviews in The Guardian, Total Film, Little White Lies, Sight & Sound and many more.
