Richard is a UK based writer, director, producer with a passion for history, technology, and mythology. He is currently a senior writer for MBC Studios, having written projects including the blockbuster hit eight-part TV Drama Rashash, Devil’s Promise, the MENA region’s first female superhero film, detective, supernatural and historical dramas. He acted as co-showrunner for the 30-episode 3rd season of Boxing Girls. He has also written a sci-fi screenplay commissioned by British independent guru Mick Southworth. He wrote, produced, and co-directed the low budget feature film Let’s Go Home. His novel, Heir of Darkness published in July 2020 reached #1 on Amazon’s Occult Horror and Paranormal Romance categories. Richard graduated from Swansea University with an English degree, has a Law degree from the College of Law, and two Film Diplomas from The New York Film Academy. He is one half of a writing partnership with his wife, Suha AL Khalifa.
