I have lived and breathed music since my teenage years, building a career as a guitarist, composer, producer, and teacher. Music is the language I love to share, and I strive to make it understandable and inspiring for beginners while continuing to grow with seasoned players. I grew up outside NYC and spent many years working in Los Angeles and Nashville. Today I live in Gainesville, Florida, and for more than 30 years I’ve worked as a session musician, touring guitarist ,music producer/composer and online guitar instruction to students at all levels across the USA. In the studio and on stage I lead Mindwalk, a contemporary jazz band for which I write or co-write all the material. I’ve collaborated with artists like Omar Hakim, Richard Hilton, Chieli Minucci & Special EFX, Jay Rowe, and Rich Redmond, and I’ve worked on TV commercials and theatre projects.
