    paper Rob Thrush showreel

Over the course of my career I’ve filmed and edited for a very wide variety of clients from multinational corporations, broadcast news, short dramas, pop videos, theatre companies and heritage organisations. Here’s a selection to give you a flavour of my work and there’s more on website at https://www.twine.net/signin

    paper The Pain of Paper

I was tasked with producing an animated short to illustrate how outsourcing a document handling service can have real business benefits. After discussions with the client, I suggested that an animated approach would result in clearer storytelling as we could stylise the narrative to make far more visually appealing. Having agreed the script and storyboard with the client, I then collaborated with animator Rob Hull to get the ‘look’ the client really wanted for the piece. With a touch of jazz and a little humour, ORS group were delighted with the end product.

paper Case Study for Movement to Work

Movement to Work is a charity that helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to get a foothold in the careers ladder by arranging work experience opportunities with some of the UK’s largest employers. Each year, Chard House covers the annual conference and awards night and during the course of the year records testimonials with my colleagues at Wow Media where success stories are shared to inspire other potential participants to reach out and to encourage other organisations to get involved and offer opportunities.

paper How to make the Ultimate G&T

I directed a series of cocktail masterclasses for one of the world’s leading gin distillers. Using four cameras, the brief was to create a series of bright, engaging videos to showcase the product as well as demonstrate a delicious range of cocktails.
Needless to say the crew were able to sample some of the excellent results (after we’d finished shooting obviously)

paper BMW Mini Countryman launch at Donington

Using an array of 4k cameras and GoPros, I and my team captured some dynamic driving at the official launch of the new BMW Mini Countryman at Donington racetrack in the spring of 2017.
Visitors to the event had the chance to drive the new models and share their experiences with us. It’s fair to say the crew were nearly as muddy as some of the vehicles by the end of the day, but it’s a Mini. What’s not to love?

paper Honeywell Bond - the Benefits of TCAS II

I took the director’s chair for this high end production for Wow Media and agency “The Escape”. I and my team from TNT Films also provided camera crews, cranes, camera sliders and location sound recording facilities to provide Wow Media’s post-production team with the high quality raw footage they sought to create a programme with real impact. In my capacity as director, I organised sequences to film on location, led interviews and operated cameras. Well-received by Honeywell, the production formed a baseline for other companies to follow.
