I'm Robbie Houston, a multidisciplinary audio professional and founder of Carte Blanche Studio. I run a self-managed recording space where I produce and engineer records for a diverse range of artists, blending analog and digital workflows to help projects sound their best while nurturing artist development and overseeing full project delivery. I also run music workshops focused on recovery and inclusion, drawing on experiences across different backgrounds and communities to create inclusive learning environments. Beyond the studio, I perform with Glasgow-based groups BOAB & Sweaty Palms as a songwriter and lyricist, and I help shape our evolving sound through collaborative arrangements and rehearsals. I also book and coordinate events, including regular venues, open mics, and community-led sessions, which keeps me connected with local talent and the wider UK/Europe music scene.
