My name is Anton Robert. I am 28 years old and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I have been working at Teatrul Excelsior since August 1, 2022, as a Sound Technician / Theatre Show Operator, a position I joined through a professional referral from a friend who has long known my dedication to music and audio work.
My first professional experience in theatre was in 2021, when I created the sound design for a competition production as part of Gala HOP. The production later received the award for Best Group Performance/Production. Since then, I have collaborated with a wide range of theatre directors, including international professionals from the United States, and worked closely with multiple sound designers—an experience from which I have learned a great deal. I have also supported productions involving international artists and have gained hands-on experience with a broad range of musical instruments and professional technical equipment.
In addition to operating shows, I have contributed sound design for theatre productions and have been involved in the development of independent theatre projects outside the institution. I compose music for friends and for my own projects, which I release on YouTube Music and Spotify.

I created the sound design for this production, with the freedom to work in a musical style I know well and have been developing for years. I learned how to design effectively without overcomplicating the show or adding unnecessary elements—keeping the technical workflow simple and reliable for the crew. I truly enjoyed working on this production, and it remains a personal favorite.

This was the first theatre production I worked on and operated. It’s where I gained most of my hands-on experience with the theatre’s equipment and learned to use Soundplant.
I worked on the sound design for this production, where I learned how essential it is to attend rehearsals, communicate with the actors, and understand their needs and intentions. I created the audio in FL Studio, working in a genre I had never explored before. The production later won the Gala HOP 2021 award for Best Group Performance/Production.
I’m a calm, level-headed professional with strong adaptability in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments. I collaborate easily within teams and am cooperative, results-oriented, and dependable. I’m known for my patience, professionalism, and respect for schedules, people, and their time. I learn quickly and absorb new information fast, especially when a project motivates me. I pay close attention to details and to what matters most in the work, and I’m continuously developing greater discipline and consistency in maintaining focus. Proactive by nature, I step in to help whenever needed and I’m willing to put in extra effort when the project requires it.
