I have over 12 years of experience in creative sound work, from recording through to mixing, mastering, and final delivery. This includes: as Supervising Sound Editor, managing post-production sound teams and creating compelling sound design through collaboratively developing each of our creative work; composing music for projects ranging from film to live theatre and dance; creating evocative sound design to accompany voice-over and spoken-word pieces; and 100+hrs of professional dialogue editing. My work has encompassed documentary film and audiobooks, educational podcasts, composing music and soundscapes for virtual reality art, and field recording in the Panamanian jungle. Having completed practice-led PhD research into sound design through practice in September 2025, I am demonstrably knowledgeable in this field.     We Carve Words in the Earth is a documentary exploring the feminist struggle in occupied Palestine from the British mandate era through to the present day.

    I worked closely with Mahasen from development, through pre-production, production, and post-production, collaboratively crafting a poetic soundtrack which engages audiences’ embodied perceptions to offer experiences of stories from the feminist movement in Palestine across the last century. This included recording interviews and dialogue during unplanned tracking shots, as well as extensive field recordings across occupied Palestine.

    My role encompassed the creation of the entirety of the film’s soundtrack, from Production Sound Mixing to Dialogue Editing and Re-Recording Mixing.

    This film is currently seeking a distribution deal.
