I’m an applied AI engineer and game-focused developer with a background in building interactive systems that combine real-time user interaction, intelligent behaviour, and strong technical foundations. I hold a First-Class BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Advanced Computer Science (Distinction) from the University of Manchester, where I studied AI, games, machine learning, and interactive systems. My recent experience includes working as an AI/ML Engineer at Ion Exchange, where I helped design and iterate on an LLM-powered conversational assistant used by employees during live customer interactions. This involved shaping prompt structure, agent workflows, and retrieval strategies, benchmarking performance on real queries, and refining outputs to improve clarity, robustness, and response quality under real-world constraints. Alongside my AI work, I have strong hands-on experience with Unity and Unreal Engine, particularly in game and simulation contexts. As a Software Development Intern at the University of Manchester, I developed ManchesterModel, a Unity-based digital twin of Manchester that integrated live weather, traffic, terrain, and 3D data, and added multiple interactive features to support exploration and simulation. I’ve also built several game projects in Unity, including a fully playable 2D space shooter and a narrative-driven simulation game developed during Ludum Dare 56, which ranked in the top 3% for graphics and received extensive community feedback. In Unreal Engine, I built a Mixed Reality game for the Meta Quest Pro as part of my bachelor’s thesis, exploring immersive interaction, real-time input, and spatial experiences in a game-like environment. What sets me apart is the combination of conversational AI experience and real game development work. I’m comfortable thinking about character behaviour, tone, and consistency just as much as technical correctness, and I enjoy owning systems end-to-end—from interaction design and implementation through to testing, iteration, and integration within a game environment.

Work Experience

AI/ML Engineer at Ion Exchange (India) Ltd.
September 1, 2025 - December 1, 2025
Contributed to a LlamaIndex and Claude-based agentic RAG chatbot for querying an AWS-hosted internal database, allowing easier lookup for employees when interacting with customers. Tuned retrieval strategies and agent workflows, benchmarking on an internal evaluation set of 50+ queries, to compare answer quality and robustness. Optimised prompting and model selection across the Claude family, selecting stage-specific models that met internal latency and cost targets while maintaining quality, achieving a latency of ~6.2 seconds.
Software Development Intern at The University of Manchester
July 1, 2024 - September 1, 2024
Developed ManchesterModel, a Unity-based digital twin of Manchester, integrating live weather, traffic, 3D models, and terrain data using Mapbox and OpenWeatherMap APIs. Added 5+ interactive features, including location search, travel modes (drive/fly), and day/night simulation to support urban visualisation and scenario exploration.
