Hi, I’m Samson Essinger, a New Zealand-based music producer from Snells Beach near Auckland. I’m passionate about rhythm and composition, especially the arrangement of songs, and I work comfortably in-the-box using Ableton Live and Logic Pro. I'm a Studio Engineer at The Chapel Studios in Orewa, NZ. Since 2005 I’ve been playing bass guitar, performing with a metal band from age 12 to 23, and I’ve grown into a multi-faceted producer with a solo project and collaborations across instrumental and vocal artists. My solo venture, Samson The Producer, started in 2019 and has given me broad experience in sound design, recording techniques, and client liaison, plus hands-on work with Ableton Live and Logic Pro.
