    Critical infrastructure- bridges, dams, tunnels, and buildings relies on accurate, timely inspections to remain safe. This project focused on redesigning a tablet-based application used with a patented ultrasound scanner that detects air pockets and cracks in concrete structures.

    My responsibilities included:

    1. Conducting a UX audit of the existing application
    2. Planning and synthesizing user research with structural engineers
    3. Identifying workflow and cognitive load issues in real‑world usage
    4. Redesigning the end‑to‑end scanning interface
    5. Proposing a new process flow aligned with how scans are actually performed in the field

    Achievement: Engineers could start a scan in 60 seconds
