I am Sara, an animation director and filmmaker with experience across all stages of animation and motion graphics production, including illustration, animation, VFX, sound design, and editing. I hold a Master’s degree in Animation Filmmaking from Aalto University of Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Painting and Design. Creativity and innovation are at the core of my practice—I strive to develop unique visual styles for each project, ensuring that every work I create brings something original into the world. I am fully skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and TVPaint. At the same time, I am expanding my expertise by learning Blender and Cinema 4D. Previously, I worked for three years as an Art Director and Motion Graphic Designer at an educational holding company, where I oversaw how the brand was presented and ensured the consistency and quality of its visual identity. In addition, I have experience teaching animation to young adults. Most recently, I completed my own short animated film, for which I was responsible for every stage of production, from concept development to the final edit.
