Sayuri Hayashi Egnell

Hi, I’m a composer and music producer with over 10 years of experience in the industry, based in Stockholm and Tokyo.

In 2014, I received a Gold Prize in an international urban sound competition selected by Ryuichi Sakamoto. My work has been presented at the Nobel Prize Museum, contributing to projects related to the Nobel Peace Prize (2015) and Physiology or Medicine (2016).

I have composed music for films and global brands including Tiffany & Co., Seiko, Audi, and McDonald’s. My film credits include Kiss Me at Midnight (2019), My Boyfriend in Orange (2022), Lovesick Ellie (2024), and My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 (2025).

The animated film Give It All (2024), for which I composed the score, received the Excellence Award at the Japan Academy Prize.

Since 2021, I have been a contributing artist to Epidemic Sound, where my music is widely used worldwide and has reached over 5 million annual streams on Spotify. My work has also been recognized at international film festivals in Los Angeles, Boston, Tokyo, Manchester, South Korea, and Colombia.
