I’m Sean Nolan, a final-year English and Creative Writing student at the University of Strathclyde. I’m drawn to character-driven film and television, and I have developed research techniques and narrative structures through coursework, including an original screenplay dissertation exploring themes of guilt, morality and consequence.
Off the page, I lead a retail team with clear communication and organizational skills, mentoring colleagues and maintaining operational continuity in a high-volume environment. I bring a proactive, collaborative approach to storytelling projects and am eager to translate academic writing into compelling screenplays and screen storytelling.

The Day the Sun Fell is a psychological short film exploring guilt, memory and moral consequence. It follows Maude as she undergoes a mysterious government program designed to erase trauma - but instead finds herself navigating a surreal, metaphysical landscape that pushes her to confront the truth she is trying to escape. The script blends grounded emotional conflict with abstract, high-concept imagery, focusing on character-driven tension and internal stakes.
