THE UNHEARD is an original short-film screenplay about the emotional distance that can exist between a mother and daughter, even when love is present.
The story follows Lynn as she finally confronts the feelings she has carried for years—what it meant to grow up feeling cared for, yet emotionally unheard. Through an intimate and emotionally driven conversation, the story explores motherhood, communication, emotional neglect, forgiveness, and the courage to finally speak about what hurts.
