From Skokie, Illinois, Jonah Sendlin (b. 2001) brings passion, excitement, and a story to all of his works. As a percussionist and electric bassist, he primarily writes for percussion ensemble and big band, though, his portfolio expands much greater, writing for symphonic bands and orchestras, musicals, video games, and more. Sendlin premiered many compositions in his undergrad, including three original soundtracks of video game music after collaborating with Bradley University’s Senior and Masters Game Design students. He has also premiered works at the Illinois Music Educators Conference, with the Heartland Festival Orchestra in Peoria, Illinois, and others.
