I am an illustrator. I have over 20 years of experience in design, marketing, and advertising, as well as extensive knowledge of political communication and social media. In 2021, I decided to change course and studied with one of the greatest online teachers: Mike Matessi. His Force drawing method took me to a very professional level of drawing. In addition to taking countless online workshops and classes, I also took the three-year illustration course at Escola Joso. Since then, I've been primarily looking for work as an illustrator, although I accept work in design, video editing, animation, or communication if the projects interest me. My work experience began at a betting house, creating designs, illustrations, and animations for sports press throughout Spain. Later, I worked for several advertising agencies and finally, after four years, I started freelancing, where I worked for different agencies (some of them international) for twelve years. My experience with images and my interest in social movements led me, in its earliest stages, to join the political party Barcelona en Comú, led by Ada Colau. Thanks to several factors, one of them being the brilliant communications campaign, loaded with images and good design, we won the 2015 Barcelona City Council elections. I worked in political communications for Barcelona en Comú for eight years, during a time of great change in Spanish politics: I participated in eleven electoral campaigns. After eight years, I decided to jump ship and dedicate myself to what I had always wanted to do, but hadn't had the time (or the money to dedicate myself) to do so. Now I'm focusing on finding editorial illustration projects: books for teens and adults, comics, and board games (a sector I'm passionate about, given my experience as a designer and a background as a role-playing and tabletop gamer). My more than 20 years of experience allow me to approach any project with complete professionalism, understanding the clients I work with perfectly and often offering solutions beyond their wildest dreams. I care deeply about what I'm doing, I know how to work in a team, and I also know how to lead teams by bringing out the best in each person. And after eleven election campaigns, you can be sure I know how to work under pressure.
