Sharlayne Flanders

I’m a London-born creative producer and development consultant working across film, storytelling, and cultural projects. My background is in story development, script editing, and talent support, with over a decade of experience working with writers, directors, and artists at different stages of their careers. I’ve worked in TV and film development, supported independent creatives through structured development sessions, and collaborated with producers and cultural organisations on research-led and community-focused projects.

Alongside my development work, I curate and facilitate creative programmes centred on storytelling, archive, memory, and cultural exchange. I’m particularly interested in how stories are shaped, preserved, and shared — whether through scripts, live conversation, workshops, or participatory projects. I bring a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every brief, balancing creative intuition with clear structure, sensitivity, and delivery. I’m comfortable working independently or as part of a wider team, and I value clarity, care, and trust in all professional relationships.
